ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday ordered the submission of details of medical facilities, condition of machinery,equipment and diagnosis centresin f
ederal hospitals in therecent medicine theft case.
A three member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) SaqibNisar had taken up the case for hearing.
When informed of thealleged sale of
blood,donated in the polycli
nic centre,in the market
, the CJP remarked that the medical field should be the field of angels. Selling donated
blood was an unpardonable offence, he observed.
The CJP further said that the judiciary could not interfere in political and administrative matters.
After the day’s proceedings
, the court adjourned the case hearing for one month.
